"I wanted to be as educated as possible so I could accurately & spontaneously communicate the vision in my mind into an image & to reduce the distance between creative thought and the camera."

In 2002 Helen was accepted into RMIT Arts Diploma of Photography.

At that time the program solely taught analog photography, film and darkroom techniques.
After graduating from the diploma in 2004, Helen advanced into the oldest and most established photography program in the world, RMIT Bachelor of Arts (Photography) founded in 1887.
It was in her final year when RMIT's photography department transitioned to 100% digital photography.

"I'm grateful to have world-class education in both film and digital photography."

Whether you're looking for a flawless fashion shot, a true-to-life portrait or a gritty album cover, Helen provides a photography service where each image is individually crafted into something unique.

"For me, taking the shot is only the beginning, a finished product involves exploring each image in post-production.

Film photographers used contrast filters, burning and dodging in the darkroom...... Photoshop is the modern darkroom."
